Every year growing up we had the tradition of opening one present on Christmas Eve and it was always Christmas pajamas. We would always rush to put them on after and then snuggle up to a Christmas story and hot cocoa. It's something that I have looked forward to each Christmas and now with my own little kids I love carrying on this tradition. I think having traditions is so important and it makes the holidays so much more exciting when you have special things that you look forward to each year. We started a new one this year at the beginning of the month where Capri opened up our new Christmas Elf Jingles from Elf on the Shelf that will be watching her all month and reporting back to Santa each night if she was a good girl or not. She gets so excited each morning when she wakes up to see where Jingles is in the house and it's already proved to be some good incentive when I'm trying to get her to listen to me. Jingles brought them some festive pajamas too that they can wear all month long. Adam and I have been thinking of all the things we want to make sure and do with our own kids during Christmas to make it a special time that they always look forward to because it is our very favorite time of the year! Capri is at the best age right now where everything is so magical to her and she is so excited about everything Christmas.
