Girls Trip to San Francisco
I just got back from such a fun trip up to San Francisco with all my sister-in laws and my husbands cute Mom. I seriously lucked out and married into the best family and I absolutely adore my new sisters and my mother-in law, she is the best. For Christmas she surprised us all with a girls getaway trip up to San Fran with just the five of us, no kids or husbands and it was a much needed break. Even though I missed my cute little Capri and the hubby, it was such a treat to go on a trip where I wasn't worried about packing a diaper bag or pushing a stroller around everywhere or wondering how to schedule her nap into the day or setting up a pack-n-play in the hotel room. It was the first time I've ever flown without Capri since she was born and I even just packed a carry on suitcase - I mean talk about traveling light! I haven't done that in a long time. And even though it was a busy trip and we packed our days full with as much as we could and walked all over town, I loved it all - tired prego body and everything. We stayed at the Ritz Hotel and it could not have been nicer, everything was so great. I loved my bathrobe and slippers in the room a little too much, I just wanted them on all the time and everyone was so great at the hotel to get us whatever we needed. I know I already listed my favorites from our last San Francisco trip here, but I discovered some delicious new food spots and we did a few fun things that we didn't have time to do last time. So here's a list of our girls weekend and what I think are the highlights of the city if you have four days like us to pack it all in. Hope I'll be back soon San Francisco, you're a gem!
