Christmas is my very favorite holiday so I get really excited to decorate the house for this time of year. I love that my kids share this same excitement so I wanted to do something really special for Capri since she is at the best age where she is old enough to understand things, but yet it's all so magical. I wanted to surprise her with her own tree in her room this year and wasn't sure what kind, but once I saw these ballerina ornaments I knew I had to do a theme around the Nutcracker because it is our family tradition to go every year with her Nana and she loves it so much. I added different round ornaments of all sizes in shades of blush pink and gold to go with the nutcrackers and dancers. Then for the finishing touch I tied gold ribbon around and filled in with some sparkling branches. I snuck into her room while she was sleeping and set up all the decorations for her to wake up to and it was such a fun surprise! It has really made the start of the holiday season so special with touches of Christmas throughout the home.
