Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

I think we can all agree that pumpkin treats are just the best.  Something about them is so delicious and I look forward to making them this time of year so much!  One of my favorite traditions is that I always make pumpkin chocolate chip bread before Halloween and it's great because the recipe makes extra loaves so I can deliver them to our friends for a little Halloween treat.  This recipe is hands down my favorite one and I'm sure you'll love it too!

| INGREDIENTS |

5 eggs, well beaten

3 cups sugar

2 1/2 cups canned pumpkin

2 cups corn oil

4 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

4 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg

1 1/2 teaspoons cloves

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 1/4 cups milk chocolate chips [I use a whole bag and then some of Ghirardelli chocolate chips]


| DIRECTIONS |

Cream eggs and sugar.  Add pumpkin and oil.  Add dry ingredients slowly and combine thoroughly.  Fold in chocolate chips.  Pour into 4 greased and floured [9x5"] pans.  Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
