Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend enjoying the outdoors and sipping some lemonade. I feel like summer has really arrived because we had our first concert in the park yesterday and Saturday night we were invited to an Eat See Hear event in Santa Monica where they had lots of delicious food trucks, a live band playing, and an outdoor movie on the big screen later that night. It was a perfect evening. We also got to check out Air New Zealand's new comfortable seating to London and we are ready for a summer vacation now!
| HOMEMADE LEMONADE |
Squeeze the juice from about 8 lemons [or 6 if they are large]. You want about 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice total. Add 1 1/3 cups of sugar to a pot and 1 cup of water. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves. Set aside. Add lemon juice and 8 cups of water to a large pitcher. Once the simple syrup cools mix that in as well. Chill well and serve!
