Pop-Up Grill Campfire

One of our favorite things to do together as a family is to have a campfire whether it's at the beach with a big bonfire or at the park, it's just so fun being outdoors enjoying some delicious grub.  We have been using our pop-up grill for a few months now and it's been so great because it can be used over a wood fire with the bottom part taken out or you can heat up the grill with your own coals in the bottom and use it anywhere outside.  The grill is also super convenient because it folds up flat and has a little bag that it comes in.  This keeps everything super compact, zipped up and easy to carry around or packed on a camping trip.  We love getting some fresh veggies and putting them on kabobs along with some chicken that we have marinated in teriyaki sauce over night.  They take little work and taste delicious.  And of course you can't end a campfire without cooking up some s'mores!  I recently discovered how delicious it is to use a reese's peanut butter cup as your chocolate in the s'more and the addition of peanut butter is so tasty - you have to try it!  [if you follow me on snapchat at westcoastcapri then you saw how excited I was about this ha] We also love using fudge stripes cookies so that you get the cookie and chocolate all in one and you just have to add the toasted mallow.  There's just so many good options with s'mores!  Nights like this with our little family make me so excited for the times ahead when we can plan camping trips to cool destinations and make fun memories together.  You always know it was a successful time when you smell like a campfire the next day . . . and the day after;)
