Is anyone's house as messy as mine with more kids home during the day? Plus, it's hot! I have kids coming in and out all day long. And, there's usually a crowd . . . a hungry crowd. Throw together a Summer Snack Tray to feed the masses! When you pick real food they'll be hungry less [aka less opening and closing doors], just follow these rules:
1 | Pick a Protein [tuna]
2 | Add something green [thawed peas]
3 | Choose a complex carb [sprouted grain bagels]
4 | Include cooled fruit [watermelon]
5 | Make it interesting with a sweet treat [strawberries & chocolate hazelnut spread]
[I also included sweet potato tortilla chips, diced cheese, and diced tomato with sea salt]
So fast, so easy, and it kept them outside!!
