Baby Wearing with Solly Baby
We have reached the two week mark with our little baby Rome and I feel like he is already changing so much everyday. It's been fun to see him awake more and start to see his little personality coming out, but not so fun when he's waking me up in the night. I feel like I've been in that newborn fog where the days seem to blur together and it seems as though the outside world has stopped because you are in your own little bubble of all things baby. We have realized this little guy loves to be held all the time and even when he's sleeping, he would prefer to be snuggled up close in the comfort of someone's arms. And as much as I wish I could just sit and snuggle him all day without a thing to do, that's not my reality with two other kids and a to-do list a mile long. That's why I'm so glad there are these amazing baby wraps out there because they are going to be my best friend. I've especially been loving this Solly Baby wrap from their new collection. I used these same wraps with my other babies and love it because not only are they made in beautiful colors, but they are so soft and snuggly making it the perfect way to wear a baby. It feels like they are swaddled up in a soft blanket next to you. I recently saw a post about the benefits of wearing your baby even an hour a day, so if you're not convinced yet that it will save you as a mom with more free hands then listen to these.
| BENEFITS OF BABYWEARING |
-Babies who are carried often cry less
-Babywearing is good for babies physically [helps to support their body as they were carried in the womb and helps prevent flat head syndrome when they are always laying on their back]
-Babywearing encourages healthy mental and emotional development
-Babywearing makes parenting easier with free hands to help with the needs of other children
-Babywearing promotes bonding with your baby [just like with skin-to-skin in the hospital, it promotes bonding and helps mothers with postpartum depression]
