I love this tradition of looking back on all of our memories of the past year and trying to narrow the months down to our highlights. But I still can't believe another year has gone by and here we are ready to kick off 2018. This last year was a good one for our family filled with lots of fun trips and watching our two kiddos grow up so much. This was a year that was all about being settled for me - we didn't have any big changes which is kind of rare. It was the second year in our home so there wasn't any moving, any job changes, and it just felt like we got into a good groove with our two kids and got back to reconnecting as a couple with our first vacation alone since having kids and we finally got a regular babysitter so we could have weekly date nights which have been such a highlight. We had lots of visitors that we met at Disneyland and vacations with each sides of our families that were so much fun. And we had the best time starting new traditions with our little family and also carrying on some that we started last year Then we shared the best news ever when we found out that we were expecting our third baby in July and we anxiously waited every week until we could share the excitement with our families. We can't wait to welcome another baby boy into our family in just a couple months and become a family of five. I'm looking forward to soaking up our time with a newborn and probably slow down a little this year.

I made a road trip to St George with the kids to work on Home Design Projects and getting the first completed home photographed

Kept up our family tradition of Saturday bike rides and acai bowls on the beach

| FEBRUARY |

Took off on a dream vacation to Mexico with just me and Adam

Celebrated Adam's 32nd Birthday in Mexico with the Cirque Du Soleil show

Went back to St George with my Mom to finish homes for the parade weekend

| MARCH |

Joey and Page came to visit and we had a fun weekend with them

Disneyland days with Sam and Steph visiting the next week

Jon and Karen came the next week and we went to all our favorite spots

| APRIL |

Went on a date night to celebrate our 6th Wedding Anniversary

Celebrated my 30th Birthday with a weekend getaway in Laguna with our little fam

Went to an Easter Egg hunt with friends at the park

Had delicious eggs benedict for Easter Sunday at home

Went to Disneyland for Capri's 4th Birthday and treated her like a princess for the day at The Bibbiti Bobbiti Boutique

Put together a Spring Fling party for our church

Had a fun girls weekend in Palm Springs with two of my best friends to celebrate my birthday

My Mom came into town to be at Capri's Flamingle on the Beach 4th Birthday Party

Went back to St George to install another new Home I designed

Took trips to the LA Zoo with friends

Capri took private swim lessons and learned how to swim

| JUNE |

Enjoyed a few last days at Disneyland before taking a summer break

I took the kids to Spokane to visit Brittney and enjoy a weekend at Lake Cour'Delene with my parents and Nana Rice

Had a family night at the Dodgers Game and Liam got geared out

Capri had her second dance recital and wore a red flapper dress

I left to Utah to spend time with family before heading to Sun Valley

Had the best Fourth of July week in Sun Valley with the Hale Family

Celebrated Liam's 2nd Birthday with a baseball party at the park with family and friends in Utah

Went on a fun bike ride along the beach with friends and ate in Manhattan Beach

Spent a fun week at the beach with the whole Rice Family at the Marriott Newport Villas

| AUGUST |

Went to a fun outdoor movie night with friends

Spent lots of days at the Beach and Pool

Went to the Long Beach Aquarium

Finished an office room design for a client in Denver

| SEPTEMBER |

Spent Labor Day Weekend in St George with family boating and seeing Newsies at Tuacahn

Told all of our family and friends that we are expecting baby #3 in March

Capri and Liam did another photoshoot for Minnow Swim and their new collection

Went to the amazing LA Museum of Ice Cream

Liam started music class with some friends and loved it

Had a fun couple days with some girls from my church in Palm Springs

| OCTOBER |

Had a gender reveal party with the Broadbent's to find out we're having a Baby Boy

Hosted an Autumn Luncheon with girlfriends in our backyard

My parents came to visit for the Utah vs USC football game

Adam's parents came the next week and we had a fun Disneyland day with them

Took the kids trick or treating at Adam's work and then the ward Halloween Party [took second place at the chili cook-off]

Had a super halloween with Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, and Superman with dinner at the Broadbent's and trick or treating the avenues

| NOVEMBER |

Had Thanksgiving by ourselves for the first time and went to Terrenea Resort for the dinner buffet then to a movie after [we did bowling the next day]

| DECEMBER |

Enjoyed Disneyland all decked out for the holidays

Went to a fun American Girl Doll event with Capri at The Grove

Hosted our first White Elephant Gift Exchange/ Christmas Dinner Party with friends

Saw all the Christmas lights at the LA Temple grounds

Went to a Feliz Navidad party at our church

Took the kids to see Santa at The Grove and had a fun night eating dinner and shopping

Had our own Christmas Eve celebrations and Christmas morning before driving to Utah for the holidays

Arrived in Utah for the Nutcracker, Burgess Bowling, Gingerbread House Contest, The Grand America Windows, Hires Big H, City Creek Santa, The Mandarin, Escape Room Game, Sledding, Ice Skating, Temple Square lights, dinner and games with siblings, and lots of fun celebrations
